We welcome applications for staff nurse posts within Ward 1 St Andrews Community Hospital. Ward 1 is a 22 bedded GP led unit which specialises in rehabilitation and complex discharge planning. We also offer a daycase service for a number of clinical procedures.
You will be expected to work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team to encourage and promote patient goals, ensuring a positive patient journey. This will include working alongside our newly appointed activities coordinator. We require you to have good communication skills, be flexible and adaptable and work well within a team whilst using your own initiative. You will be expected to carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care and be involved in the smooth running of the ward. There is an opportunity to participate and develop new skills after a period of supported learning.
This ward presently has opportunities for Registered Nurses interested in part-time and full-time posts, offering a working pattern of 11.5 hour shifts, day/night rotation covering 7 days per week. You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible.
Induction and orientation will be provided for the successful candidate.
