NHS Highland eHealth Department has a vacancy for a Technical Specialist to develop and maintain server and desktop operating systems which run the clinical and administrative functions throughout North NHS Highland GP Practices.  This role sits within a team of Technical Specialists responsible for the whole of NHS Highland and will specialise in the particular needs of GP Practices, ensuring that their IT provision is equitable to that of the rest of the organisation.  The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Backup Technologies and Active Directory.

This post is based at Raigmore Hospital and experience of IT equipment and Microsoft operating systems is required, as well as a recognised IT qualification.
