We are excited to welcome a new Education Lead into our Workforce Development Team.
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated leader to help manage a wide portfolio of focussed education programmes. These support delivery of a range of work streams in relation to workforce development. You will be joining us at a critical time in NHS workforce development enabling you to have a key role in helping to influence how we utilise education to shape the workforce with the skills required, both now and into the future.
You will contribute to the development of innovative new ideas and ways of working that maximise recruitment and retention of staff, and support identified workforce need. This includes work experience, employability and apprenticeship programmes alongside new initiatives enabling career progression and development at more senior levels.
You will be responsible for expanding a range of education and training opportunities that facilitate inclusive approaches and address inequalities and barriers to employment.
You will be working in a fast paced and demanding environment spanning a range of multi-agency partnerships. The role will incorporate leading and managing a team of project support staff and administrative assistants to enable the efficient and effective running of the service and progression of strategic and operational workplans.
