Bank Senior Nursing Support Worker Location: Robin House, Balloch Salary: £12.06 per hour Contract: Bank Closing date: Wednesday, 9th February 2022 Following the reconfiguration of our services in response to the Pandemic, we currently have 4 Bank Senior Nursing Support Worker vacancies in Robin House, Balloch. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Support Worker to join our compassionate and skilled team to provide respite and end of life care for children and families in their own homes. You will work as part of our dynamic outreach team combining specialist palliative care with making precious memories and moments of joy through play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and new experiences; ensuring that no matter how short a family’s time together may be, it is a time filled with happiness and fun. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and creative Senior Nursing Support Worker with experience of working in a Health, Social or Child Care setting. You will have the skills to assist in the delivery of nursing care to babies, children and young people, and have the ability to adapt the care you provide to meet the individual needs of families. Qualifications and Experience You will be educated to SVQ level 3/ have a HNC in Health, Social or Child Care or be able to evidence equivalent experience. You will have relevant knowledge of care procedures and clinical observations and the ability to work confidently with IT in a care setting. As well as being a good communicator, able to work co-operatively with colleagues, you will also be an innovative thinker, self-motivated and committed to your own learning and development. We have a 3:1 ratio of v18.1 volunteers to staff members in CHAS. All CHAS staff will at some point work with or alongside volunteers and will be expected to support volunteers.
