An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Occupational Therapists to join our Neurodevelopmental Service at Udston Hospital.
JOB PURPOSE
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings. The post holder is expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
- Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
- Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
- Car driver is essential
