The post holder is a member of a responsive frontline service available to the patients, staff, and visitors of the hospital adopting hands on, flexible cross cover basis, Working with staff using a variety of skills during busy times or emergency situations (e g major haemorrhages) in order to ensure an efficient delivery of service. The post holder is required to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by Supervisory staff. Porters will work in various areas across the campus Providing a wide range of support services, covering patient movement, waste and linen handling, blood and blood products, specimen deliveries. You should have an HNC or equivalent experience of at least three years working in a facilities environment in a supervisory capacity − Knowledge of all aspects in the Portering/Transport duties as in job purpose (Induction Training provided)
