The Managed Service Network for Neurosurgery (MSN) is a national network responsible for the delivery of a single collaborative neurosurgical service provided in four centres in Scotland.  We are looking for a Project Support Officer to support the network.  As part of a national team, you will be expected to provide an effective and efficient project support and administration service to the Network Manager and MSN team.

The postholder will provide a full range of administrative support of a consistently high standard to the Network Manager and MSN team, including acting as first point of contact for any enquiries and responding or referring on as appropriate. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining all project databases and systems, including training users in their operation.

It is essential you have a good general education to HND level or equivalent with previous experience of working within the NHS.  Experience in similar administrative role is essential.  You should be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of medical terminology is also essential.

This post is for 37.5 hours per week, flexibility is required.
