Training Programme Director for Gastroenterology

East of Scotland Region

Hours:  Support Professional Activities Time (SPA)

Duration: 3 years in the first instance*

The Training Programme Director for Gastroenterology (East Region) will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding the following appointments: specialty registrar (StR); and locum appointments for training (LATs).

The TPD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Lead Dean/Director for Medicine or appropriate Associate Dean.  They may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.

The post is available for 3 years in the first instance.*
