This post represents an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver an innovative, high profile Podiatry Service of the North Health and Social Care Partnership. This exciting career opportunity offers the right candidate the opportunity to design and deliver a new model providing highly effective, high quality podiatry assessments, consultations and interventions.
You will contribute to the strategic direction, clinical leadership and advanced practice of the Podiatry Service locally with the support of the operational Team Manager of the North Health and Social Care Partnership; will also work in conjunction with the Advanced Podiatrists in acute services, Advanced Podiatrists Musculoskeletal, and Podiatry Service Manager.
You, in partnership with the Podiatry Clinical Governance Group, will deliver departmental plans which will drive quality initiatives across the Directorate simultaneously ensuring person-centred care is at the forefront of all decision making. You will work with other professionals in order to develop appropriate evidence-based clinical guidelines of care, protocols, policies
To be considered for this position, you should be a Registered Podiatrist with valid HCPC Registration, possess a B.Sc. in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent, educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of NHS Scotland’s Leadership Qualities framework or equivalent framework. You should also have a qualification in Non-medical prescribing or evidence of working toward this. Strong professional clinical leadership that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge to lead effectively and efficiently and poses extensive knowledge of advanced clinical practice within the health care agenda is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs is essential.
A car driver is also essential.
