You should have a commitment to medicine of the elderly, patient centred care and supporting effective team working. You will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
Ward 32 is a very busy medical assessment unit with a commitment to multidisciplinary team working. We specialise in caring for patients with delirium and dementia.
You should be able to work using your own initiative and have an active interest in mentoring students and junior staff.
Experience in M&H, venepuncture and cannulation are desirable, but training can be provided. Good communication skills are essential.
Hours will be worked to suit the needs of the service; this will include rotation to night duty.
