This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
The Therapist will be part of an innovative therapy team assisting the progress of patients engaged with the Lothians and Edinburgh Abstinence Programme (). They will ensure that the support is of high quality and relevant to the aims of the programme and the needs of the patient group. The team will be responsible for the motivation and support of patients, facilitating their journey into recovery and in the delivery of the overall programme.
