Pharmacy Support Worker – Higher Level (Band 3)
37.5hrs per week

Looking for a new challenge? Would you like to join the pharmacy team of one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK? You'll work closely a team who are committed to making a difference. We are looking for enthusiastic motivated individuals to work as Pharmacy Support Worker.
The post holder is part of a team of Pharmacy Support Workers assisting in the safe, effective and efficient delivery of services provided by the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh dispensary and stores. The post will involve rotation between these two departments and may be required to work within the dispensaries of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Chalmers and Lauriston.
Duties include medicine receipt and delivery mark-up, stock control, assembly of stock orders for wards/departments and administration duties.
Basic computing skills are essential as there will be an administrative component to this work with tasks such as recording of workload statistics, checking Microsoft outlook emails, scanning, photocopying and filing.
Previous pharmacy experience is advantageous, although not essential, as training will be provided.
