The Transformational Redesign Unit (TRU) forms part of the ihub within HIS and supports health and social care partnerships with complex, system-wide change in order to improve outcomes for the people of Scotland.

We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to be considered for an Administrative Officer role within the TRU Programme Management Office (PMO). The primary responsibilities of the post will include managing inboxes and diaries, organising and supporting meetings and events (virtual and face-to-face, in compliance with current standards), gathering and collating information, taking of meeting notes/actions, formatting documents, arranging travel and accommodation, processing invoices, and liaising with senior managers, professionals and other colleagues from health and social care.

A key component of the post holder’s duties will be to confidently support leadership of TRU and work directly with the Unit Head to maintain oversight of the following portfolios: Strategic Planning, People-Led Care, and Housing and Homelessness in Healthcare, as well as the Evidence and Evaluation for Improvement Team (EEvIT).

You should be educated to HNC level or have demonstrable equivalent experience in administration.  We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable and who is proficient in the use of standard IT packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). The successful candidate will have strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage conflicting demands, work with complex and sensitive information, be proactive and use their initiative, as well as work well as part of a team.
