An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admin Manager to join our National Risk & Resilience Department (NRRD). The purpose of the NRRD is to ensure that robust organisation-wide arrangements for risk management, emergency planning, business continuity, special operations and community resilience are developed in keeping with existing and proposed legislation, government policy and standards, emerging and anticipated threats and risks and best practice in the field.
Reporting to the NRRD Business Support Manager, you will be a strong leader with experience of managing, developing, and supporting staff. You will be required to effectively and efficiently manage the day to day running of the dedicated NRRD administration function.
With comprehensive experience and understanding of administrative and secretarial environments, you will be driving forward continuous improvement within the Business Support Team which includes developing, implementing the maintaining robust business support systems and processes. You should be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft applications and databases in particular Excel.
You will be required to deal with sensitive information for which security vetting is required.
