INTEGRATED MANAGER
You will have an appropriate professional qualification in a Nursing, Social Work or AHP field or a degree in Management. This includes SVQ4 in Health & Social Care.
Initially this post will manage the Care at Homes Services on behalf of Dundee City Council and the wider contracts for social care services. This currently includes the Social Care Response Service, Technology Enabled Care, Enablement Teams, Care at Home Teams and Dundee City Council’s Housing with Care Services.
Community Services in Dundee are currently under review and a key responsibility of this post will be to support the Associate Locality Manager with the development and integration of the multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams, ensuring a culture of team working, communication and collaboration.
To be responsible for a designated service area including all budget and physical and staff resources and to be accountable to the Associate Locality Manager for ensuring the service and systems are carried out in a consistent manner, and that services are developed and deployed in such a manner that they support a personalised approach. This will include being responsible for the direct management of Social Work and Health Care resources, taking a lead role in commissioning external contracts and ensuring systems are developed and implemented systematically.
You will provide professional clinical leadership and professional management to discipline specific professional staff working across the Health and Social Care Partnership. This post will have a focus on social care practice and professional issues within the legal and ethical framework as established by relevant professional codes and National Legislation to ensure peoples interests and wellbeing are met. Ensure the clinical contribution to service delivery is of the highest quality and is one that enhances the persons experience through the provision of safe, effective, efficient, timely, equitable, and person-centred care. Ensure that as part of the Clinical/Integrated Team Manager structure that the lead professional will align and support the Lead AHP and Lead Nurse with the delivery of the overall professional governance structures/frameworks.
You will have a working knowledge of the local and national health and social care agenda/ policy and have experience of leading change within a multi-disciplinary environment and will have demonstrated a collaborative approach as a leader. Excellent communication and analytical skills will be essential.
