Job Advert
Are you enthusiastic about working in the Theatre environment? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
We are offering the opportunity for you to join our Theatre Academy April intake: this is a 6 month intensive learning and development opportunity to support you to become a skilled and knowledgeable Theatre Nurse within our peri-operative team!
The Theatre department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital has developed a complete training programme for individuals with a keen interest in the area.
You will be employed for 6 months in a supernumerary capacity. In this period, you will split your time between classroom activity (including simulation learning) and hands on clinical care. You will be supported by a clinical mentor, the clinical education team, and the Theatre Academy Faculty to complete a programme of competency based training. There is some self-directed learning throughout the duration of the course too. After successful completion of the supernumerary period, you will be offered a permanent post in this expanding department.
If you are a Registered Nurse with a desire to pursue a career in theatre nursing at the Golden Jubilee this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
