This vacancy is a fixed term post for 12 months., for a Band 6 , part time - 22.5 hr position.

A Full UK Driving Licence Holder would be required for this position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Practice Development department in Beckford Street , Hamilton.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the programme for our internationally recruited staff to become part of our workforce. 

The registered nurse will work within a small team to promote and support NMAHPs to create a culture of continuous quality improvement, in person centered care.  They will facilitate the use of evidence based practice and support key staff throughout the change process, acting as a source of professional advice and guidance. The post holder will work across professional boundaries, work collaboratively with service users, education providers and other partnership agencies

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

Registered Nurse or Midwife with valid UK NMC Registration; or Allied Health Professional with valid HCPC Registration.

Educated to/working towards Degree level.

Post graduate experience within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.

Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.

The postholder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative.

Excellent team/group facilitation skills.

Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.​​​​​​

Effective time management skills.

Working knowledge of basic information technology.
