An opportunity has arisen within the South HSCP Services for a highly motivated Personal Assistant (PA) to support the South Ayrshire Allied Health Professions (AHP) Lead within the Partnership Headquarters at Ailsa Hospital.  You will assist and support the AHP Lead and senior AHP management and Team Leaders within AHP in fulfilling their role by providing a high level administrative/clerical support. 

You will also provide cover for the wider South HSCP Services and Social Care Partnership Business Support Team, ensuring actions are taken efficiently and delivered to a high standard. 

You will be based at Ailsa Hospital but have a blended approach to home and onsite working.  You will work closely with the AHP Services and senior staff across the organisation and act as the first point of contact for enquiries, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.  

With an HND or equivalent qualification/experience in Business Administration or recognised medical secretarial qualification, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  You will be able to deal effectively with a number of simultaneous tasks and have the ability, commitment and judgement to ensure deadlines and actions are delivered.

You should ideally have experience of working within a health care environment and excellent knowledge of office based IT packages, including Word and Excel skills.  Administrative experience is essential, which includes attending meetings for the purpose of minute taking, diary management, and willing to work as part of a team or progress work on initiative.​​​​​​​
