South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership are looking for a forward thinking; motivated Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our integrated team as part of the  community based. You will have opportunity to build on your current experience/learning through implementing and developing this exciting new role supported by an experienced team of Dietitians.


This includes clinical tasks providing support to patients/carers; clinical and non-clinical colleagues through advice and/or training to allow them to self-manage their care. This will also include the chance to be involved in the training of future Dietitians. The delivery of this service will be area-wide in citizens own homes, care homes and as a result of attendance at GP Practice clinics.


You must be able to demonstrate your interest in nutrition and hydration, be experienced in health/social care & educated to SVQ 3 level in a relevant subject; have competent administrative skills using Microsoft Office, have good communication, interpersonal & team working skills.  


You may be based at either or in between Ailsa Hospital & North Ayr Health Centre.


Hours:  2 x 37.5 per week.
