The HR Department provides a comprehensive operational HR service to managers and staff within NHS Lothian. It is key to supporting national, regional and local HR strategies as they impact on the organisation, and in addition, it supports the business management of the organisation with data, information and coaching.
This part time post provides proactive and comprehensive advice and guidance to line managers and employees on all Human Resources (HR) matters in line with Policies and Procedures, best practice and employment legislation within a framework of partnership working. Specifically, you will
- Provide operational HR support for a defined case load e.g. discipline, grievance and capability cases, attendance management cases, dignity at work issues, flexible working requests and supporting organisational change programmes.
- On rotation, provide on-line and telephone advice and support through the HR Enquiries help desk for NHS Lothian
