eHealth are embarking on an ambitious rollout of a new electronic laboratory ordering and result service across 90 GP practices in NHS Highland. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the eHealth Department to help deliver this.
We are looking to recruit two Project Officers who will work with Senior Projects Managers on the delivery of the Order Communications project to take forward new developments and initiatives aligned to the NHS Highland digital strategy. You will work with healthcare professionals across the Board and contribute to planning, managing and delivering projects as part of the wider strategy and Project Delivery Team, ensuring that appropriate project management controls are in place. The post will include a varied and interesting range of project officer duties. A significant proportion of your duties will involve working with all levels of staff across the Board and will also include other external organisations and as such a high level of interpersonal communication skills is expected.
We are looking to appoint a candidate who can demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills to their daily work tasks, to be self-motivated, work well under pressure and have a high level of attention to detail. The ability to work as part of a team and have a clear understanding of the importance of customer service is key.
You should be qualified to degree or diploma level with relevant equivalent experience and knowledge, preferably within the NHS or public sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who would wish to develop their project management skills. These are full-time, fixed term posts, working Monday to Friday.
