The Greater Glasgow and Clyde Adult Eating Disorder Service is a specialist service, working with adults with moderate to severe eating disorders. The service is psychology led and comprised of a multidisciplinary team, including Clinical Psychology, GP, Psychiatry, Nursing, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy. The service provides direct individual and group treatments, as well as offering consultation to other services working with eating disorder both in community and inpatient settings.
This role is a new 2 year fixed term post which represents and exciting opportunity to join an expanding team at a point of proposed service development. The post holder will have substantial opportunity to shape service development in relation to the MARSIPAN pathway.
The post will involve supporting the safe and effective delivery of inpatient treatment of people with eating disorders in acute hospital settings. The role will have an emphasis on liaison, consultation, teaching and training.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with significant post qualification experience in working with people with complex mental health presentations. Experience of working with people with eating disorders is desirable.

The post requires the ability to travel to bases across GGC as required and a current driving licence. Core business hours are between 9am and 5pm (with some flexibility) and both office based and remote working are currently supported.
