Network Analyst AFC Grade 5
We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join the Infrastructure Network Team, to provide on-going support of network connectivity on one of the largest IT networks in the UK, and to assist in the development and monitoring of this network. Applicants should either have, or be actively working towards, the CCNA qualification and have a good working knowledge of Ethernet (wired and wireless) networking technologies in a Cisco environment, as well as a good understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols. Applicants should also have knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Cisco Security Systems, Cisco Wireless Technologies, Advanced Routing Protocols.
The post is within the South area team covering 3 large Acute Hospitals and occasionally visiting large health centres connected to the NHSGGC COIN network, so a driving licence is essential as is experience working in an NHS environment.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
