As a Learning Disability Staff Nurse, you will work within the East Community Learning Disability Team, based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre, and occasionally in Cumnock.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team with a strong inter-agency focus with health and local authority partners. You must have an RNLD qualification with experience of working in a community team or similar setting.

You must have good interpersonal and communication skills to develop working relationships with clients, carers, relatives and other health & social service agencies involved in care provision,

You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the current policy context affecting the development of person centred learning disability services and the role of nursing in a changing clinical environment.

You will have evidence of continuous professional development.​​​​​​​

6 month secondment - must be discussed with your line manager.
