NHS Lanarkshire Medical Physics Department is seeking a competent and enthusiastic technician with experience of servicing renal dialysis equipment.
The post holder will be based in the University Hospital Monklands but there will be a requirement to service dialysis equipment on our other two acute sites. University Hospital Wishaw and University hospital Hairmyres. The main duties of the post holder will be to support the renal dialysis equipment as a member of a team covering renal dialysis for NHS Lanarkshire.
The department operates a registered Quality Management System to BSI ISO9001:2015 standard, and it is expected that the post holder will participate in duties associated with the quality system.
The department uses an electronic asset management database, eQuip to manage the equipment and an electronic ordering system, Pecos to order parts etc. etc. Knowledge of working with these systems would be desirable.
