We are looking for a strategic leader to head up our Strategy, Planning and Performance Directorate. This is a key role which drives the overall effectiveness and high performance of NHS 24. Over the past two years, NHS 24 has transformed into a truly 24/7 organisation and now provides the gateway into urgent care services as a key partner of NHSScotland. We support tens of thousands of people every week with telephone assessment and referral or urgent care, mental health and emergency dental care, as well as through our national health information platform NHS inform.
A key priority for this important role is to lead on the development and delivery of our organisational strategy aligned to NHS 24's purpose and vision. The Director of Strategy, Planning and Performance will help to inspire and optimise the performance and impact of our broad range of services for the public, the Scottish Government and NHSScotland.
