This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the occupational therapy team within the in-patient Intermediate Care Service. The team provides occupational therapy to frail older adults to support them to function purposefully and as independently as possible in their daily lives.
The post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service.
The service is committed to supporting personal and professional development and offers regular in-service training.
