This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. 

The post holder will have responsibility for co-ordinating the supply and storage of coagulation factor concentrates for Haemophilia & Thrombosis Centre and other Centres within the East Coast of Scotland ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.

The post holder will also gather and collate coagulation factor usage data from Haemophilia Centres in Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness, and report this data to the funding authority, National Services Division.
