JOB TITLE: Specialty Doctor Training Fellowship in Palliative Medicine
LOCATION: Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh

SALARY: Specialty Doctor Scale, starting salary £43,246 - £58,039 pa (dependent on experience) plus 4% Availability Supplement and 1.25 PAs on-call supplement

HOURS:  10 PAs per week (40 hours), plus 1 in 5 on call rota

Fixed term contract for 1 year from 3rd August 2022 with the potential to extend to 2 years

CLOSING DATE: Friday 25th February 2022

INTERVIEW DATE:  Wednesday 16th March 2020

The post holder will play an important medical role in the delivery of care to inpatients, community and day-patients in collaboration with the medical director, consultants, medical colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. 

The post also involves participation in training and educational activities as well as activities relating to maintaining clinical excellence within the service.

This post offers the successful applicant a wide range of palliative medicine experience and can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual. It may be of interest to junior doctor’s keen to establish a career in this field.
