A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant in the Research, Development and Innovation Division in NHS Highland. We require a highly organised and capable assistant to work with the Senior Data Management team in the NHS Highland Clinical Research Facility (CRF) to carry out two sets of activities which will contribute to the core functions of the Division. First, basic data processing activities to support the work of the SDMs, as they are involved in between 50 – 100 studies at any one time that require data processing support. Second, to support the team as they are in charge of the financial processing of CRF studies, to ensure that the Divisional income / revenue is accurately charged, invoiced and reconciled.
The successful candidate will be expected to deal with a high pressure job that includes repetitive tasks, and to fit into a fast paced team that deal with hundreds of clients and suppliers, to be engaged with the data management team and to have a robust and enquiring mind, that also has at least a basic interest in the world of research, development and innovation.
