Project Manager, Care Homes Band 7

 FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE  

FULL TIME - 37.5 HOURS 

Salary Scale:  £40,872 - £47,846

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the Nursing Directorate to lead and co-ordinate key developments and projects related to whole system improvements in Care Homes across the three Health & Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs) and acute settings in Tayside.


You will work closely with the Care Home Clinical and Care Professional Operational Group Leads and across all our stakeholders.  You will link with other Boards across Scotland and attend National and local meetings.  You will develop and manage action and risk plans and project resources.  High levels of communication and organisational skills are therefore essential.


You will focus on the coordination and development of the whole system improvements and will be critical in delivering to schedule and to the highest possible standards. Key elements of the role will incorporate planning, coordination, performance monitoring/reporting, project management, service improvement, staff engagement and the organisation of a number of activities such as steering groups, local events and support to subgroups of the Care Home Clinical and Care Professional Operational Group


Experience of the Care Home Sector is desirable with a proven track record of project and change management, underpinned by Quality Improvement methodology, knowledge and skills.


This post requires travel across the region.  The base for the post is negotiable within Tayside.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
