NHS Lanarkshire CAMHS is expanding and currently comprised of approximately 120 clinicians from a variety of professional backgrounds including Clinical and Applied Psychologists, who are fully integrated into generic, and specialist, locality/community CAMHS teams/hubs across North and South Lanarkshire.  The multi-disciplinary staff group are made up of: nurses/CAMHS Mental Health Clinicians (CMHC) who have various training backgrounds in nursing, social work and occupational therapy.  The service currently has an expanding nursing workforce who lead on the CAMHS Unscheduled Care Team (CUIT) and CAMHS Intensive Treatment Team (CITT) who provide an out of hours wrap round service for children and young people (C/YP).
