HMP Edinburgh has a population of 900 prisoners, and HMP Addiewell has a population of 796. The Prison Healthcare Service provides a range of clinical services and interventions that meet prisoner healthcare needs. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be responsible for a nurse led primary care clinic/treatment room on a daily basis. Full time posts available.

  • Hawthorn Ward, Ellen's Glen House

Hawthorn ward is located in Ellen’s Glen House, which is part of Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnerships. It’s a 30 bedded complex clinical care ward which specialises in palliative and end of life care. There are also 2 respite beds to provide support for families caring for their loved one at home. Full time, permanent positions available. 

  • Leith Community Treatment Centre - Outpatients

Leith Community Treatment Centre provides a wide range of outpatient and day services for adults and children living in Leith and North-East Edinburgh. Your role will include assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards of care. Part time, permanent post available. ​​​​​​​​​​​​
