Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Breast Radiology. This is a replacement post following retirement and is available immediately. The post could be based in either of the three NHS Lanarkshire sites- University Hospitals Wishaw, Monklands and Hairmyres or in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, with travel throughout sites if/when required.
The post holder will be involved in the investigation and management of both benign and malignant breast disease. Experience should include comprehensive training in breast radiology including wire guided or magseed localisation of impalpable screen detected breast cancers. Experience in a full range of procedural skills such as US and stereotactic biopsy is required.
