A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a healthcare support worker (HCSW) to become part of the specialist eating disorder service (SEDS).
The desirable candidate would ideally be able to demonstrate, be knowledgeable about and have experience of working in services with individuals who have an eating disorder diagnosis. A good knowledge of physical health needs and screening for this group of patients would also be desirable. The post holder will work under the supervision of a registered care professional and work independently with the multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical care for a delegated caseload.
The post holder will ensure that high standards of care are maintained in a safe environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals. The post holder will ensure that patient safety is maintained and the patient experience is positive by treating all patients, their family, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity and courtesy in accordance with the Organisations core values.
The successful candidate will work within the specialist eating disorder service based in Mountainhall treatment centre in Dumfries
Days of work will cover Monday-Friday 9am-5.00pm.

INTERNATIONAL NURSES
NHS Dumfries & Galloway can support OSCE Training for international nurses from March 2022 for those who have completed CBT and English language.
