We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Support Worker to join the East Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT). The team has a split base with a base in Kilmarnock and Cumnock. Your main base will be in North West Kilmarnock Area Centre however there will be a requirement to provide cover in Rothesay House, Cumnock if/when required.

The CLDT is multi-disciplinary and part of the East Health and Social Care Partnership.

You should have experience of working with people with a learning disability who have complex health needs.

It is essential that you possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work as part of a team. You must have an understanding of person centred approaches and of the health needs of people with a learning disability.
