An exciting opportunity for an eHealth Programme Manager has arisen in our NHSGGC eHealth Strategy & Programmes Team. You will work with our Senior eHealth Team to deliver the Board’s Digital Strategy and delivery plan to support service transformation across the NHSGGC Board Area and take a lead role in delivering digital programmes across NHSGGC.
There are a significant number of projects underway and in the planning which are aligned to the overall EPR programme of work including but not exclusively:
- Continuing and ongoing development of the EHCR with a focus on Acute Services
- Implementation of Active Clinical Notes
- Planning for future upgrades/implementations
- Dental EPR Programme
- Supporting Unscheduled Care
- Supporting Citizen Access Programme
- Unified Health Care Record
- Document management implementation
- System Replacements and upgrades
In addition this post will oversee the digital transformation supporting other NHSGGC programmes.
This post also has a role in providing service delivery in collaboration with NHSGGC management and clinicians to support the delivery of the NHSGGC Digital Strategy and associated transformation programmes.
Working closely with healthcare professionals across the Board you will set out how digital technology will help transform services to provide a truly integrated and modern health and social care service.
You will manage a team of Project Managers and will be responsible for the planning, managing and delivering of projects as part of the wider Strategy & Programmes Team, ensuring that appropriate project management controls and reporting are in place.
You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in programme management roles within health or a similar complex working environment, including skills in financial and staff management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
You should be qualification to Degree level or equivalent together with additional knowledge acquired through experience or specialist training. You should have demonstrable experience of working at a senior level within the NHS.
