This is an excellent opportunity for an organized person with kitchen store keeping management skills. You must have experience in large scale catering preferably within the NHS.

The main kitchen at University Hospital Crosshouse will provide in excess of 600 patient prepared and cooked meals every meal service including therapeutic diets to patients, as well as a meal service to busy staff restaurant. In addition, we also provide a catering service to two Bramble Cafes.

Your duties include the ordering of stock, ingredient control measures that comply with the current recipes, receipting of goods received notes, processing these to the admin team in a timely manner, good stock rotation practices, general catering duties, maintaining high standards of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for H.A.C.C.P and Environmental Health.​​​​​​​

A degree of flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work additional hours during periods of leave.
