An opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Service within Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow which is part of the Women and Children's Directorate and in the Acute Services Division.
This provides an exciting opportunity for staff wishing to gain experience in acute paediatrics. You must be a team player with previous general physiotherapy experience essential including experience of on-call with an ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills. Paediatric experience is desirable. You will have the opportunity to gain experience within musculoskeletal, neurology and respiratory paediatrics. There may also be opportunity for rotation into Community Paediatrics.
Respiratory on-call/emergency, evening, weekend and public holiday duties will be required as part of this post.
The Acute Services Division is committed to offering all staff the opportunity to develop clinical skills with a varied caseload, and also offer appraisal, supervision and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development. It is essential you have a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check.
