Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist working in Aberdeenshire with adults presenting with moderate – severe mental health problems.

This appointment will be on a permanent part time basis and will be based in Royal Cornhill Hospital, Aberdeen although at present a blended model of working both from home and office is being adopted and this may remain in place in the future.   The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring the systematic provision of a high quality, specialist psychology service for adults (aged 18-65 years) with moderate- severe mental health problems. This post is part of a team of 17 Clinical and Counselling Psychologists delivering services to Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

There are good opportunities to become involved in teaching and research activities via well established links with Aberdeen University Departments of Mental Health, Psychology, and General Practice and Primary Care. There will be an opportunity to offer clinical placements for trainees undertaking doctoral training on the University of Edinburgh/NHS Scotland Clinical Psychology Training Programme.

Interview expenses are available to all candidates and an attractive relocation allowance of up to £8000 is available to successful candidates if applicable
