Senior Healthcare Support Worker
Band 3 £21,709 - £23,603
Permanent, 37.5 Full Time
We have a vacancy for a full time, permanent Senior Healthcare assistant to join the Learning Disability Team based with the Occupational Therapy department providing therapeutic interventions to adults with a learning disability across Highland. The postholder will be passionate about improving the lives of adults with a learning disability and committed to enabling people to be as independent as possible. They will demonstrate a commitment to working within a team but also have the ability to work independently with individuals and their carers. The postholder will work with the occupational therapists to provide occupational therapy interventions and support individuals to engage in therapeutic activity in both the hospital and community setting.
This post covers all of Highland and therefore a car driver is essential. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability is highly desirable.
