This is a part-time post for 15 hrs.

Opportunity has arisen to job share with the existing post holder, supporting the dietetic team working in the clinical areas of Older Adults, Neurosciences and Spinal, based at QEUH.

This post has 2 aspects: Working on the wards undertaking tasks to support the assessment of patients. This requires strong numeracy and literacy skills to collect information from both electronic and paper systems, directly inputting your findings, in a narrative online format, working from a laptop in the clinical area. The second aspect is generic administration duties working as part of a service wide dietetic support workers team. All systems are electronic. IT competence and ability to work between IT packages is essential. Communication is a core skill for this post; you should be confident in your ability and enjoy communicating with both staff and the public.  This post is governed by the Health Care Support Workers Code of Conduct.
