Applications are invited for the position of ST4 LAT at Old Age Mental Health Services based at Royal Cornhill Hospital.

You would join a thriving Old Age Mental Health Service with ample opportunity for varied and high quality training, including taking part in our senior on call rota for Royal Cornhill Hospital. One half day a week would be set aside for supervised research activities and another for a special interest. There would be time set aside for educational supervision.

You would work with a multi-disciplinary team covering a specified catchment with a nominated supervising consultant. You would undertake Older Adult Psychiatry outpatient clinics with supervision, as well as inpatient work on both our functional and dementia wards, enabling you to develop a varied mix of skills. Out of hours work includes general adult cover, working non-resident shifts with a team of junior doctors, unscheduled care nursing staff, and consultant cover. This post is an enjoyable and rewarding job which is well supervised by consultant colleagues.

As this is a ST4 training post essential and desirable criteria must be met. You would still have to apply via National recruitment to enter into the training programme for August 2022.

This post would be until 2nd August 2022.
