NHS GG&C are looking to recruit 1 X Part time (22.5 hours) Diabetic Retinal Eye Screener. This role would suit people with experience in Health and Social Care.
The retinal screening photographer is responsible for the eye photography of Diabetic patients and supporting their clinics. The service deals with a high turnover of Diabetic patients. NHS GG&C currently have over 60,000 Diabetic patients registered. The service operates from multiple sites across GG&C Health Board. A driving liscense is preferred.
The screening photographer is responsible for the smooth running of their clinics. The screening photographer works after a period of supervision independently with management support provided by the clinical service manager as required.
The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with the Service Manager, Ophthalmologist and Lead Clinician to ensure effective utilisation of specialised equipment and supplies and to ensure high quality photography services are delivered to the patient.
The shift pattern is; Mon – Fri (9 am -5pm)
