An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Diabetes and Endocrine Ward (Ward 12) at University Hospital Monklands. We are looking to expand our dedicated team of Registered Nurses and seek suitable applicants to join us on our exciting journey as we look towards our new MRP Hospital site. We currently have a fantastic workforce including our HCSWs, Registered Nurses, ANPs, Pharmacists, Specialist Nurses and Training Grade Doctors including a very supportive and dynamic Consultant team. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a flexible attitude and will be inspired to deliver a high standard of evidence-based person centred care. You should demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative but most importantly you must have the ability to communicate with the inter-professional team to enhance the patient experience.
In return, we can offer the right development and support by the multi-disciplinary team, clinical practice educators and a strong education ethos. Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Charge Nurse you should also be able to work on your own initiative, supported by the wider nursing team and will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence based programmes of care with reference to patients, without direct supervision. You will also co-ordinate the provision of seamless care for patients from admission to discharge by utilising efficient communication practices with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team / Primary Services and Carers.
