Salary Scale £40,872 - £47,846 per annum
NHS Highland is looking to recruit an experienced Physician Associate to join their team within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department at Raigmore Hospital.
All applicants must be educated to post-graduate level in Physician Associate studies and registered on the current UK PA MVR. Prior work as part of a ‘junior’ rota is desirable however all applicants will be considered that can demonstrate sufficient post qualifying experience. Shift patterns may include out of hours, nights and weekends.
Raigmore Hospital is a busy District General Hospital, with an Trauma & Orthopaedic Department which includes 19 Orthopaedic Surgeons, together with 7 Registrars and 2 Specialty doctors, 6 FY1s, 1 ANP and a Physician Associate (this post)
The service has a mix of trauma and elective patients, Raigmore provides a full range of trauma and elective operating with 2 wards to accommodate patients on the 3rd floor.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership. If the post holder is not a current PVG member with NHS Highland for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
