Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to;
- Providing an evidence base to support the Centre for Workforce Supply by:
- providing evidence on the size, timing and location of workforce gaps
- providing evidence of how the workforce gaps may be filled
- providing evidence on the impact of interventions used to fill workforce gaps
- Developing reports to disseminate evidence to internal and external stakeholders
- Responding to FoIs, IRs and PQs
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to;
• Postgraduate qualification, or equivalent, and demonstrable experience in relevant discipline
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Presentation skills
• Excellent IT and information management skills
• Management skills/experience in managerial role
• Organisation/administrative skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to include presentation, influencing, negotiation and complex report writing
