An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse within Station 9, University Hospital, Ayr. Station 9 is a 24 bedded medical ward specialising in Gastroenterology.
You must be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in this speciality. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. You will deliver individualised person centred care and ensure patient safety at all times. You will work as part of the team, demonstrating a positive “can do” attitude, commitment, dedication, flexibility and reliability in delivering a high quality service. Knowledge of, and previous experience, working with patients with cognitive impairment and challenging behaviours would be beneficial for this role.
Hours:
Position 1: 37.5 per week on a permanent contract.
Position 2: 37.5 per week on a permanent contract.
Position 3: 37.5 per week. This is a fixed-term/secondment opportunity for 1 year.
Position 4: 34.5 per week. This is a fixed-term/secondment opportunity for 1 year.
Please note that these hours may be worked on a rotational basis covering day and night shifts and weekend working.
