Band 6 Primary Mental Health Worker

Posts Available – Full-time & Part-time permanent positions

(Open to Arts Therapists, CAAP’s, Clinical Psychologists, Nursing, Occupational Therapists & Social Workers)

Excellent opportunity for experienced child and young person’s mental health practitioners looking to join a new Team and contribute to the development of a new pathway of care in Lothian    

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in NHS Lothian are currently embarking upon a service redesign supported by £4.1 million of additional investment.  This is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated child and adolescent mental health practitioners who wish to contribute to our vision of getting it right for every child and young person with a mental health problem.

These are newly developed posts that will be embedded in our communities as a Tier 2 CAMH Service. These posts will have a focus on providing individual and group interventions in collaboration with key partners in the community as well as providing consultation and training where appropriate. Engaging with stakeholders across the 4 Children’s Partnerships, you will have excellent communication skills. 

Professional supervision, training and development are integral to the service.
