We are searching for an Audiologist to join our dedicated team. NHS Tayside Audiology & Balance Service is a forward thinking and evolving service and this is the opportunity for a qualified audiologist / associate audiology practitioner to join the team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing a high standard of care.


The role involves participating fully in providing a professional effective Adult audiology service, undertaking all aspects of routine audiological procedures including audiometric testing, hearing aid fittings, rehabilitation for adult hearing aid users & repair for adults across NHS Tayside as appropriate.


You must have or be working towards the appropriate qualifications for the band you are applying for to be considered for this post.

i.e. BSc in Audiology or equivalent for Band 5

RCCP registration is expected upon qualification where appropriate


The department consists of a team of 23 audiologists with AAP and admin support based in a purpose built unit in Dundee. We also provide services at Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital. We provide all elements of audiological and vestibular assessments and rehabilitation for both adults and paediatrics. Professional development is a key part of our service development and we encourage our team to develop skills in specialist areas.


Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week worked over 4 days

As this post will require travelling to out reach clinics and home visits a driver’s licence would be desirable
